I'm Amazing

S. woke up from her nap today in a very grumpy mood. I asked her if she wanted to paint her nails (she's got a black pinky from trying to work on the basement--she meant to hammer a real nail).

She grinned and took off running down the hall "Oh yeah!" Sometimes it's just too easy to be "the best mom in the whole wide world!"

I have very fond memories of tinkerbell nail polish at such a young age. I thought I was amazing for being allowed to have it. ;) I'm sure S feels the same way. :)

Nail polish has magic powers here as well, in the form of Daddy letting Mimi (and Abby when she was little) paint his finger and toe nails. He currently has one foot with blue metallic and the other is dark pink. They love painting his nails. And he is a big guy, so no one ever says anything, though he gets some looks. :D He tries to stick to toes, but sometimes they win out and pain the fingernails as well.

I love painting the girl's nails. The toe nails are the best, because it always tickles. Then I end up painting their toes instead of the nail. I enjoy these fun mommy memories.
